Mechanical System
Robot size, structure, legs, wheels, payload mounting, enclosure, environmental protection, and application-specific mechanics.
Custom robot programs
For large deployments, Kinatric can design the robot around your application. Some applications cannot be solved by adding a sensor to an off-the-shelf robot. For customers that need significant quantities, we can develop a robotic platform around the payload, environment, endurance, communications, autonomy, and operating requirements of the deployment.

Built around your mission
From structure and movement to the information layer, each system is designed as one deployable machine.
Robot size, structure, legs, wheels, payload mounting, enclosure, environmental protection, and application-specific mechanics.
Actuators, gearing, motor control, reinforcement-learning locomotion, terrain behavior, speed, and payload requirements.
Battery architecture, runtime, charging, power distribution, and unattended charging systems.
Edge AI computers, NVIDIA Jetson platforms, Raspberry Pi, x86, specialized accelerators, or selected compute.
Visible and thermal cameras, LiDAR, depth, audio, gas, acoustic, environmental, or specialized sensing.
Wi-Fi, Ethernet, 4G/5G, private cellular, RF, satellite, or customer-specific networking.
SLAM, navigation, obstacle avoidance, patrol behavior, return-to-charge, teleoperation, and software integration.
Design for manufacture, supply chain, assembly, testing, quality control, serviceability, and production scaling.
Large deployments
Custom development makes the most sense when the deployment is large enough to justify designing around the application. Kinatric focuses its custom engineering resources on customers with substantial anticipated robot volumes.
If your deployment could require dozens, hundreds, or more robots, we want to understand the application.

From requirement to production
A disciplined path from operating requirements to repeatable field deployment.
Environment, use case, fleet size, payload, performance, autonomy, communications, and cost targets.
Mechanical architecture, electrical systems, sensors, power, compute, communications, and charging.
Build engineering systems and validate the robot in representative conditions.
Reliability, environment, locomotion, payload operation, charging, and field use.
Move the validated design into repeatable assembly and quality-control processes.
Support customer integration and scaling into the target fleet.
Smart integration
A successful robot does not require reinventing every component. Kinatric can combine our mobility platform and motion technology with proven cameras, compute modules, sensors, communications hardware, and third-party software when those technologies are the best fit.
The objective is not to maximize the number of proprietary components. It is to create the best robotic system for the customer's application.

Self charging
For unattended deployments, Kinatric can incorporate automatic docking and charging so robots can repeatedly perform missions without manual charging between runs.
Designed and assembled in the U.S.
Kinatric is a U.S. corporation, and our D2 robotic platforms are designed and assembled in the United States. For custom large-volume programs, working directly with the company designing the robot makes it possible to optimize the platform around the deployment rather than force the deployment around an existing robot.
